PLANNED cuts to mental health services will put many lives in danger, a trade union has warned. Unison has called on health commissioners to reverse plans to slash the budget for child and adolescent mental health by \u00a3352,000.<\/p>\n
The union said the district\u2019s three clinical commissioning groups (CCG) were not planning to renew a contract which ends in April. Regional organiser Gary Cleaver said: \u201cVulnerable young people will be at far greater risk of self-harm, suicide, fatal addiction and growing inequality in the care they can expect.<\/p>\n
