June 13 was TESYouth’s first
birthday and we look back at the
evolution of the organisation from
the day it was founded.
After the initial steps with infrastructure
TESYouth.org went live in its
first month. The board members was
assembled, the
TESYouth
Online Auction launched and
Facebook and
Twitter pages
established, which now boast a
following of over 600.
Since being settled in its
office at Finchley Central in
January 2014, TESYouth made a
remarkable debut by providing
work experience, work placement
and internships both to UK and
European young people in
collaboration with
Jobcentre Plus,
London
Apprenticeship and
The
Association for European
Training (GEB).
Additional to above TESYouth
provided workshops, participated
in Seminars and Conferences,
released
newsletters,
Video Blogs, assist and
sponsored young people to setup
and start their own business.
Up to now all TESYouth
activities have been funded by
co-founders and board members.
To make a greater impact on the
unemployed youth, TESYouth
applied for some fund and still
is waiting for their outcome.
Hopefully the applications are
successful so we could expand
our range of services and
continue to
#BeatYouthUnemployment in
the next year.
