I have been in work experience programme at TESYouth for 3 weeks and I have really enjoyed my time here. I feel as though I have learnt a lot of new skills and also developed many existing skills. I have realised that I have grown more in confidence and have learnt to become more independent. Careers services for young people in England need to be urgently improved, says a report from an advisory body set up by the government. The National Careers Council, which has been investigating the current state of careers provision, highlights a lack of consistency and availability. The 16 and 17-year-old first-time voters were drawn from 50 schools across Scotland to question politicians from the Yes Scotland and Better Together campaigns.
