Bright Ideas
For young entrepreneurs, the dream is to have that next million-pound franchise.
You may be a fitness enthusiast with a fresh new clothing line, ready to inspire a generation of kids to work out.
Perhaps an aspiring baker tired of the same old goods gathering dust on supermarket shelves. The world needs tasty plant-based doughnuts, and you are the one to deliver.
Whatever the bright idea is, thoughts quickly turn to the future.
Fame and riches surely await!

Suddenly though, dreams collide with reality, and the hard work begins. A daunting experience without the right support system in place.
For some, that support system isn’t always available. Even worse, there is no clear path towards it.
TESYouth and our team of experts know all about these struggles. That is why we are on hand to ensure no golden egg goes to waste.
PANDEMIC OF CREATIVITY?
Covid-19 and its wave of lockdowns were a strange time for all involved.
Whether applauding out of your bedroom window or learning to love long walks in the park, it was undoubtedly a period of uncertainty.
However, those countless hours of free time appear to have got the creative juices flowing in us.
A recent survey conducted by web hosting platform GoDaddy indicates that since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, the number of entrepreneurs under 35 has risen from 16.4% to 34%.

Even more importantly, the number of 18 to 24-year-olds exploring new ventures has shot up from 1.7% to 8.6%.
Statistics that indicate the younger generation is increasingly taking employment matters into their own hands.
With correct procedures in place in terms of education and raising awareness, there’s no reason to believe those figures won’t continue to rise over the coming years.
The Oscar For Best Supporting Actor Goes To…
Imagine Batman with no Robin. Who is Iron Man without The Avengers? Where would Taylor Swift be without a long list of exes to write songs about?
Everyone needs support in life.
The business world is no different.
Research conducted by Professor Daniel Isenberg in 2010 concluded that you need six conditions to allow entrepreneurship to flourish.
The term, ‘Entrepreneurship Ecosystem’, was born from those studies, and it is made up of the following:

Ultimately, the premise is that economies will naturally benefit when all of the above are in perfect harmony.
Support is a critical component.
With 61% of the UK’s employment made up of Small to Medium Enterprises, start-up companies must be given every chance they need to grow.
The Road To Success
There are a lot of twists and turns on the road to success.
While a tight circle of family and friends is fantastic, there are elements that they might not always be able to assist with.
Having a mentor with experience, especially in the earlier stages, can make all the difference.
That is where charities like TESYouth come in.
For young entrepreneurs, there are many areas of focus, and we can assist with some of the following:
Training & Workshops:
With a team of experts on hand, the workshops provide an opportunity to develop new skills or increase your knowledge on a particular topic. A chance to ask any burning questions in an open forum full of like-minded go-getters.
Networking & Building Communities:
Networking is an essential part of any ambitious business. Becoming part of the TESYouth community will help build your professional circle. Additionally, a steady stream of connections to lean on before you begin will benefit you further down the line.
Work Experience:
You may have aspirations to start a venture one day, but perhaps you’re not entirely sure which industry you want to target. It could be a great chance to gain experience working alongside individuals who have walked that path already.
