Tips to Ease Stress
- Try to identify the source of your stress. Analyse the situation, if there is something you can do about it, do so.
- Always look at the bright side, try to keep positive.
- Share your concerns in a polite way.
- Try to relax by practicing breathing techniques, yoga, tai chi, among others.
- Exercise will help your body’s hormone levels stabilise and you’ll feel better.
- Be healthy. Avoid junk food, sugar, alcohol and drugs so your body can function well and deal with your problems properly.
- Create a schedule, try to manage your time properly.
- Know when to say NO, politely.
- Make time for things that make you happy (like stress relieving colouring books, reading, movies, etc.)
- Sleep well.
- Surround yourself with people you love.
- If you think it might help, talk to someone, a friend, a counsellor, an advisor.
